The Side-Gig Seminar Series is a group of evening seminars on different topics designed for those who are just getting into entrepreneurship. Maybe you have a side business selling something online; or perhaps you are thinking about starting a store or a restaurant. You can attend one, multiple, or all of the sessions! Startup and Small Business Taxes, January 22, 6 pm (Virtual)
The Side Gig Seminar series by EntrePartners covers everything you need to know to make your business more than just a hobby. In this session, we will cover what you can do now to prepare for this year's tax day and what you can do to prepare better in future years.
Utilizing Social Media Influencers, January 29, 6 pm (Virtual)
In this session, we will cover the process of working with online influencers to market your business.
Making It Real, February 12, 6 pm (Virtual)
In this session, we will cover the process of creating a Business Model Canvas and a Value Proposition -- a roadmap and a one sentence pitch for your business. We will also cover the process of incorporation: creating an LLC with the state of Iowa, getting a tax number from the IRS, and the process of choosing a bank for your business account. We will also discuss finding customers and how to talk with potential customers to make sure you're actually solving their problem.
AI for Startups and Small Businesses, February 19, 6 pm (Virtual)
In this session, we will cover tools, tips, and tricks to make AI work for you and your startup or small business.
