EntrePartners is an endeavor of The James Gang, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit grassroots community-building organization established in 2002 and based in Iowa City, Iowa, that fosters interdisciplinary community development by helping people realize and share their own creative ideas, expressions, and ambitions. We joined the ranks of endeavors in 2022, but have been running events independently since 2018.


Previously, we sponsored our activities through larger non-profit organizations in the area and welcomed in-kind donations. However, we decided to build an organizational structure after the in-kind support of others ended. Our programs are fully supported through ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations from people like you who want to make the community a better place.


We have a number of sponsorships available for our programs, including Startup Weekend Iowa City, Startup Weekend Iowa Online, and Iowa City Open Coffee. As we continue to expand our programming throughout the region, we will have more opportunities for companies and individuals to support our efforts.

Iowa City Open Coffee Sponsor: $500 per quarter or $2000 per year, include signage from sponsoring individual or company placed by coffee and occasional donuts, eligible to present at our events.


Lunch-and-learns and evening workshops: $500 per workshop, includes signage from sponsoring individual or company, advertisement allowed

Yes, EntrePartners is an endeavor of The James Gang, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your records.
How are donations used? ▼
Your donations, unless otherwise specified, go into our general fund which supports our Innovation Center, Podcast Studio, and events we run. If you have a specific request for your donation, we will honor that request.
Can I set up a monthly donation? ▼
Yes! Monthly donations provide consistent support that allows us to plan and expand our programs. Send us an email or stop by the Innovation Center if you would like to set up a recurring donation plan.
